Job Description Job Description Accounts Payable Specialist (temp) in the following locations: Locations: San Fernando Valley (SFV), DTLA, West Los Angeles, Torrance, Irvine Pay Rate: $23-$25/hour (Entry Level: 1-2 years of experience) $27-$30/hour (3 years of experience) $31-$39/hour (Advanced AP experience) Work Environment: Fully Onsite Our client is seeking detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialists to support high-volume accounts payable operations across multiple industries. This role requires strong technical skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage the full AP cycle from invoice receipt through payment. Key Responsibilities Receive and review invoices from vendors and suppliers Verify invoice accuracy and match to goods or services received Perform 2-way and 3-way invoice matching Code and record invoices in the company's accounting system Route invoices for approval and follow up as needed Schedule and process vendor payments Issue payments via paper check, electronic check, ACH/EFT , or other approved methods Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies and payment status Partner with internal departments and project managers to resolve issues Maintain organized AP records and supporting documentation Assist with account reconciliations and vendor statement reviews Update accounting records to accurately reflect payments made Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures Qualifications 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply) 3 years of AP experience for mid-level consideration Advanced AP experience for higher pay tier consideration Experience with high-volume invoice processing Hands-on experience with 2-way and 3-way matching Advanced Excel skills Experience with accounting/ERP systems including: Medius, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Sage , or similar platforms Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills Experience supporting multiple industries preferred Ability to work onsite and collaborate cross-functionally Pay Details: $23.00 to $39.00 per hour Search managed by: Cynthia Varela Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
