rapidly growing Plaintiff's Elder Abuse & Personal Injury practice
located in Los Angeles, CA. We are currently seeking an experienced
Personal Injury Records Clerk to join our dynamic team. We are

options and paid parking. Duties will include: Assesses the
completeness of the case documentation and obtains missing
pre-retainer documents if required. Reviews documentation and
accuracy of information within the Intake and Retainer Packet.
Prioritizes Significant Injury cases (SI). Requests Police Report
and ensures Police Report, photos, call logs, and videos are
requested within 24-48 hours of receipt of the new intake. Requests
ER Hospital records, ensuring that all pre-retainer records and
bills are requested within 24-48 hours of receipt of the new
intake. Ensures any government health insurance, such as Medical,
Medicare, IEHP, VA etc. are placed on notice within 24-48 hours.
For Premise cases, obtains a copy of the incident report if it was
not sent with the R&I. For Wrongful Death cases,
orders/requests any documents needed. (i.e . death certificates,
coroner’s report, funeral expenses etc) -For Workers Comp claims,
order/requests any related documents (i.e. statement the client may
have given medical records, bills etc.). Updates case management
program with the client’s pre-retainer medical treating facility
information. Updates case management program with the client
medical treating facility information if the client continues care
through their own health care providers and/or health insurance.
(CM will provide the full facility information). Requests any
non-lien provider medical records and bills. (CM will provide the
appointment information to include the date, time,
facility/provider) Scans and saves medical reports and bills in the
medical folder, properly naming each provider and appropriately
placing records and bills. Advises CM once records/reports etc.
have been received. Obtains MD documents when a case is in
litigation, specifically when the client is treating with their own
health care providers. Checks mailbox and faxes every day. Scans
all records, reports, etc. and saves them to DB in their
corresponding folder. -Ensures only active cases are on the Master
List in Litify. Maintains an updated Master List and saves it in
the folder where it is available for the Pre- Litigation Manager
and Team attorney to review. Places an introductory call to the
client within the first 24 hours of receiving the case assignment
when in GFRD (Getting File Ready For Demand). Obtains all records,
documents, evidence, and bills needed for the demand package.
Obtains all medical expenses paid out of pocket. Contacts the
client to advise them their file is being forwarded to the next
department (Demand Writing) and provides the demand writer’s
contact information. Seeks opportunities for clients to submit
favorable online reviews about their experience with the firm.
Maintains utmost professional standards towards the Firm and its
clients. Achieves high customer satisfaction in the claims process.
Other tasks as assigned. Requirements: Strong organizational and
follow-up abilities. Detail-oriented personality. Strong customer
service skills, including sense of compassion and empathy.-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid knowledge
of case management and systems. -General computer skills with
working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Litify
case management software. Professional demeanor and appearance.
Strong personal focus on meeting or exceeding individual,
department, and Firm goals. Ability to work effectively within a
team-oriented work environment. Ability to work independently and
efficiently; able to prioritize tasks. Compensation and Benefits:
