Job Description Job Description Description: The HVAC Installer will install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Responsibilities: Ability to install HVAC systems such as rooftop package units, split systems, ductless split systems, humidity control systems, vent hoods and exhaust systems, etc. Read and understand plans for duct layout, pipe supports, etc. Travel to job sites as assigned. Expected to perform repetitive physical tasks that require lifting, pushing, and pulling of material/product and standing throughout each shift. Must have their basic hand tools and cordless power tools. Must have a valid California Driver's License and clean driving record. The final candidate will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report, the ability to successfully pass a drug screening, and a Criminal Background Check before hiring. Complies with company and industry safety standards. Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment. Ability to use power and hand tools. Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC systems. Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems. Ability to follow instructions. Excellent mechanical skills. Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customers. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship required. Five years of related experience is preferred. Physical Requirements: Physically able to work on HVAC units. Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on the time of year. Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Alliance Industrial Refrigeration is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
