world. Job Summary: The Space & Airborne Center within Systems
Integration & Test seeks talented Systems Engineers. Our Space &
Airborne team members located in El Segundo, CA integrate hardware
and software, develop test plans and procedures, debug and evaluate
system functions and interfaces, and verify system requirements in
support of final sell-off to the customer. We put our systems
together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and
analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time
and every time. Every day is a different set of challenges to
overcome. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and
partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a
little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand
in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers
engaged in integration and test efforts. Our center focuses on back
end sustainment and repair design and sustainment development as
well as transitioning systems through integration and test from
production to warranty/sustainment. You will also perform
functional / physical analysis, allocation, and trade studies. You
will support Radar Mode requirement verification, engineering
testing, integration and flight-testing, production, system
deployment, and post deployment support across the product
lifecycle. Through Digital Transformation (DTx), you will perform
these functions using a variety of methods and enabling
technologies, which may include Model-Based Systems Engineering
(MBSE) and Agile product development. This position is an onsite
role in El Segundo, CA. Test event support activity may require
travel which is not expected to exceed 10%. What You Will Do:
Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, or
Troubleshoot Test activities in our labs, in the field, or at a
Depot facility Support activity may require travel Support
qualification of our products Support troubleshooting and failure
data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes
and advanced use of lab or field test equipment Complete and
compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of
analysis tools, such as MATLAB. Prepare and present results in
reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders Support
in managing engineering support activities related to test and
trouble-shoot of hardware Perform root-cause analysis & implement
minor design changes Maintain design specifications and drawings
(Schematics & Assembly Drawings) Maintain engineering databases
Coordinate engineering tag up and meetings between the Program,
System Engineering, Software team, and Chief Engineer Resolve and
coordinate system technical solutions with Engineering teams
Provide technical guidance and support to Engineering IPTLs
Participate in periodic team meetings, interface teleconference
meetings, working group meetings Support associated with
implementing process requirements Support for mock up hardware
repairs Sustainment/Depot returns and repair What You Will Learn:
After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the
candidate will be part of a team supporting Systems Engineering,
Systems Integration & Test activities across the product
development lifecycle. Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s of
Science degree in Electrical Engineering This position requires 12
months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security
clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as
only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience with tools, such as Microsoft Office, MATLAB or Python,
for data analysis and automation Experience with troubleshooting
technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship
setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment
(oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.) Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with or exposure to various military platforms for
weapons conveyance, such as ships, ground combat systems, fixed and
rotary wing aircraft Experience with using telemetry data
collection equipment to capture real time data and/or real time
monitoring Experience with electrical schematics, interface control
documentation, and communications protocols Experience with reading
and integrating software routines with hardware/electronics;
C/C++/C# preferred Experience with instrumentation and collection
of large data sets, including the application of scripting or

role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
