Registered Nurse specializing in Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care
to support patient care on the night shift. This position involves
floating responsibilities and requires a compassionate and skilled
nurse dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced
environment. This 13-week contract role offers experience in rehab
nursing with flexible scheduling during night hours. Location:Based
in Carlsbad, New Mexico, this position allows you to work within a
community that offers a blend of small-town charm and access to
outdoor activities. Carlsbad is known for its scenic desert
landscapes and proximity to attractions like the Carlsbad Caverns
National Park, making it an ideal location for those who enjoy
nature and a quieter lifestyle. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 1 year
of nursing experience, preferably in rehabilitation or long-term
care settings. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life
Support (PALS) certifications preferred. Ability to work night
shifts from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Willingness to float across
units as needed. Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered nursing care in a
rehabilitation and long-term care setting. Monitor patient health
and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement
care plans. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.
Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as
required. Support patients and family members through education and
compassionate care. Schedule/Hours: Night shift: 6:30 p.m. to 7:00
a.m. Floating responsibilities included. This opportunity is
