Job Description Job Description JOB TITLE : Staff RN
Medical/Surgical Units REPORTS TO : Manager/Director of
Medical/Surgical Inpatient Services POSITION SUMMARY : Provides
professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to care
for patients. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Performs all other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred. BSN
preferred. Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a
medical/surgical setting is preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES,
REGISTRATIONS : Must possess a current California RN license and
BLS certification. ACLS certification within 90 days of hire or
status change. Must obtain basic dysrhythmia certification within
120 days of employment or status change.
