Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN Travel Contract (Nights) Industry: Healthcare / Health Services Job Category: Nursing / Travel RN Location: California Employment Type: Travel Contract Job Summary Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) RN for a night-shift travel contract. The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, providing comprehensive L&D care and supporting OR needs during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities Manage nighttime labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care. Monitor maternal and fetal status, identify changes, and intervene promptly. Assist with urgent and emergent obstetric situations. Float to the Operating Room for C-sections and surgical procedures as required. Work weekends and holidays as requested. Minimum Qualifications Current California RN license . BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications. Minimum 2 years recent L&D experience . Minimum 1 year travel RN experience . Willingness to float to the Operating Room. Willingness to work weekends and holidays. Contract Details Shift: Nights (7:00 PM start). Schedule: 36 hours per week (3 12-hour shifts).
