We foster a people-first culture, prioritizing internal growth and empathy to create a collaborative and inclusive environment.---The RoleWe are seeking a talented Full Stack Senior Software Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team for the GECOM NAM project, a key part of our eCommerce platform. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the project's success as we prepare for launch. Post-launch, you will help establish an internal development team responsible for new features and migration from the Mi9 platform used by Metagenics Canada and Bariatric Advantage. Experience with Next.js, Contentful, and GraphQL is preferred.Key Responsibilities

• eCommerce Experience: Preferably with Payment Systems (Cybersource, Adyen, Stripe, etc.)
  • Frontend Development: Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, especially React.js and Next.js. Experience with TypeScript.
    • Backend Development: Expertise in Node.js, building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
      • Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway). Familiarity with cloud-native architecture.
        • DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledge of deployment and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI). Infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation.Basic Requirements
          • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, adaptability, collaboration, proactivity, time management, attention to detail, Agile experience, mentorship, and leadership skills.Nice to Have
            • Experience with AI tools (Azure AI, OpenAI, Microsoft Co-Pilot)
            • Project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
            • Contentful or similar CMS platforms
            • eCommerce platforms like CommerceTools
            • Payment gateway integrations (Cybersource, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay)
            • Monitoring tools like DataDog
            • Search engines like AlgoliaCompensationThe salary range for this role based in Aliso Viejo, CA, is $132,000 to $157,000 annually. Remote work is available outside Orange County or PST zone, with a hybrid schedule for local candidates. Compensation considers skills, experience, certifications, and organizational needs.
