Job Description:
A company is looking for a Paralegal, Account Resolution
(MVA).
Key Responsibilities:
Draft legal documents for MVA lien enforcement actions, including
demand letters and settlement verification letters
Provide legal support to attorneys for accounts in the MVA
division
Engage in account resolution through negotiations with carriers and
attorneys within predetermined settlement authority
Requirements and Qualifications:
Paralegal Certification or equivalent degree in Paralegal Studies
from an ABA program or college
2 years of prior paralegal experience
Experience in negotiation on behalf of a law firm/attorney is
preferred
Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office applications
Understanding of legal terminology and civil litigation
processes
