Job Description:
My SoCal Lawyer, a dedicated Upland, CA-based firm with a niche
in personal injury, family law, and estate planning, seeks a
skilled Family Law Litigation Attorney. This role requires robust
legal acumen and a passion for helping clients navigate complex
family law issues such as divorce, custody, and support. Ideal
candidates will demonstrate strong advocacy and a commitment to
securing fair outcomes that meet the nuanced needs of our clients.
Represent clients in family law cases involving divorce, child
custody, support, and property division. Prepare legal documents
such as petitions, motions, and agreements. Manage cases from
inception through disposition in court trials and negotiations.
Conduct research and gather evidence to ensure comprehensive case
preparation. Provide mediation and litigation strategies to
facilitate amicable settlements where possible. Advise clients on
their legal rights and obligations in a clear, understandable
manner. Collaborate with paralegals, administrative assistants, and
other attorneys to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw or
LexisNexis Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle stress and pressure of courtroom disputes Strong
analytical skills to develop case strategies Negotiation and
conflict resolution skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active member of the State Bar
of California. Certification in Family Law from the State Bar or
similar recognized organization is preferred.
