Job Description Job Description Associate Attorney Established 20 Years Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Insurance Defense Litigation in Orange County, CA An established firm based in Orange County with over 20 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-10 years of experience to join their team in a hybrid work arrangement. This Attorney will have experience with civil litigation and insurance defense, including high-stakes personal injury, transportation, premises liability, and other complex litigation matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while representing clients in litigation and advisory matters. Offer: $120,000 - $200,000 (Based on Experience) with performance-based bonuses Hybrid/flexible work schedule Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off Direct mentorship and growth opportunities with experienced trial attorneys A positive, collaborative firm culture that values both excellence and balance Qualifications: The candidate must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in California. The candidate must have 3-10 years of civil litigation experience, with insurance defense experience preferred but not required. The candidate must demonstrate solid deposition, motion, and courtroom experience, strong writing and communication skills, and strategic thinking ability. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities: The attorney will manage their own caseload with partner support. The attorney will draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. The attorney will take and defend depositions and appear in court for hearings and motions. The attorney will work directly with clients to strategize and move cases forward.
