Job Description Job Description Insurance Defense Attorney Insurance Defense Trial Attorney Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Trial Attorney to join our dynamic legal team starting in June. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense and litigation, with a proven track record in trial preparation and handling complex cases. This role requires a proactive approach to managing cases and advocating for our clients' interests in court. Key Responsibilities - Represent clients in insurance defense litigation matters - Prepare and present cases for trial, including conducting legal research and drafting motions - Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial and appeal - Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients - Negotiate settlements and handle pre-trial matters - Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel - Stay updated on legal developments and changes in insurance defense law Qualifications - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school - Active license to practice law in the state of CA - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation - Strong trial preparation skills and experience as a first chair attorney - Familiarity with auto and construction defect claims is a plus - Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
