Job Description Job Description Associate Attorney – General Liability & Product Liability Southern California (Los Angeles or Irvine) | Hybrid Opportunity About the Role We are seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of three (3) years of defense litigation experience to support a growing General Liability and Product Liability practice in Southern California. This position may be based in Los Angeles or Irvine and offers the opportunity to work on complex civil litigation matters involving regional and national clients. Attorneys in this role collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients while maintaining responsibility for their own caseloads. Key Responsibilities Handle local and national litigation matters throughout California Independently manage a defense litigation caseload Conduct and defend depositions Prepare fact and expert witnesses for depositions and trial Review, analyze, and manage discovery materials Draft and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions Support trial preparation and courtroom proceedings Maintain accurate and timely billing and case records Qualifications Minimum of three (3) years of experience in general liability and/or product liability defense Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active admission to practice law in the State of California Experience with motion practice and depositions Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities Experience managing complex litigation matters preferred What We Offer Direct involvement in meaningful, highvalue litigation matters Collaborative and professional work environment Hybrid work flexibility Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package
