MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant General Manager to help oversee our growing transportation services. Based in multiple locations across the U.S. and Canada, MV Transportation excels in providing tailored transportation solutions, including paratransit, fixed route, shuttle, and school bus services. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for operational excellence and unparalleled service. This position requires a blend of leadership, analytical skills, and in-depth knowledge of the transportation and shipping industry. Assist the General Manager in supervising daily operations of transportation services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation regulations and standards. Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to improve quality and efficiency. Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all vehicles are in peak operational condition. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Prepare reports and presentations for management and regulatory bodies. Manage and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment with high productivity. Oversee financial budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability of operations. Strong leadership and personnel management skills Advanced knowledge of transportation logistics and fleet management Proficient in industry-related software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions swiftly Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) or similar Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
