cultivation company is looking for a knowledgeable Cannabis Sales
Representative (CSR) to join our team and build relationships &
brand awareness with cannabis retailers. The main objective of our
CSR is to actively engage and educate retailers and consumers while
driving sales at Cannabis retailers. This candidate will secure new
business listings, achieve maximum sales profitability, and conduct
sales assist programs, all while generating brand awareness for a
line of cannabis products. Key Responsibilities --- Contribute to
the development of positive brand experiences, consumer education,
and consumer relationships --- Maintain regular communication with
assigned stores and expand existing partnerships --- Work in the
field at retail with extensive travel within your defined territory
--- B2B lead generation to secure new listings, and follow up on
leads --- Develop strong relationships with retail owners/managers
--- Identify sales opportunities --- Report key insights and track
data by utilizing various business tools --- Support retail
partners to maximize sell-through rates (This may involve regular
visits to retail and/or in-store activities to directly engage
consumers) --- Host Budtender training sessions & attend trade
shows where required --- Independently manage your territory ---
Achieve above target results in all KPI---s including sales growth,
distribution, innovation speed to market --- Act as an industry
expert providing timely and insightful retail feedback to your
manager --- Accurately document call activity via CRM and Call
Reporting tool and answer any questions or concerns related to
purchase/product experience or product use --- Complete a
post-visit and call assessment report for management --- Adhere to
all industry and corporate regulations Skills & Experience Required
--- Maintain a vehicle in good working order and provide proof of a
valid driver---s license and insurance --- Ability to grow your
territory through sales initiatives and exceptional customer
service --- Thrive on creating and selling innovative ideas ---
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit --- Motivational communicator
--- Comprehensive understanding of Cannabis - strains, effects,
methods of consumption and accessories --- Ability to adapt to a
dynamic fast-paced atmosphere --- Ability to travel as needed ---
Strong organization skills --- MS Office, MS Teams, experienced
with CRM and call reporting tools --- May require occasional
lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 25lbs ---
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and
weekends --- Willingness to continue learning about horticulture
and cannabis farming, and stay on top of current and future trends
--- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
