Job Description:

Job Purpose:
Research new sales and bid opportunities, network and build customer relationships with new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:
Receive and process inbound orders for distribution to production, purchasing, and accounting departments as required and determine customer needs, propose appropriate products and services that are compliant with the client's needs while meeting appropriate local, state and federal regulations.
Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
Conduct market research through telephone, electronic, or other means to secure new customers, service existing customers and reactivate previous customers.
Maintain consistent communication with customers and promptly research and respond to customer inquiries to the satisfaction of both the customer and the company.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Company products and pricing structure and high level of accuracy and clarity within departments and with customers on all bids, orders, and correspondences.
Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates.
Assist with accounts receivable collections under the direction of the Accounting Manager.
Complete and submit all required reports and forms in a timely and accurate manner as required.
Monitor current marketplace trends and information.
Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:
High School Diploma or successful completion of GED program.
Related sales experience a plus.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Possess a valid CA Driver License with clean driving record.
Must have excellent verbal, written, and active listening communication skills.
