Job Description:
The Amazon Studios Strategy & Ops Team is looking for a Sr.
Studio Strategy Manager. The Studios Strategy team drives the
long-term operational strategy of the Studio. We identify
opportunities to deliver the creative scope and vision of our slate
with increasing efficiency. The team is focused on a) optimizing
the cost structure of our operating model and b) optimizing our
operations to deliver content at lower costs. This role will work
on cross-functional projects that cover long-term strategy and
operations for Amazon Originals series and movies in the US and our
21 local territories – including long-term resource planning,
opportunity and tooling identification, and investments/initiatives
that scale studio capabilities effectively. Projects include but
are not limited to internal capacity optimization, portfolio
analysis, op model recommendation, infrastructure investment, and
emerging technology strategy. We seek a critical thinker, builder,
and project manager who can keep pace with our growth in a
deadline-driven, highly ambiguous environment. Key job
responsibilities - Lead analysis around operating efficiency at
each phase of the content lifecycle in order to recommend
programmatic solutions - Drive cross-organizational alignment and
decision making around upcoming investments across the media supply
chain - Deep dive into content spend and budget drivers to
proactively enhance Studio data and tooling - Conduct research of
production industry market trends and opportunities, including
competitive analysis and benchmarking - Deliver ad hoc strategic
projects and recommendations - Bachelor's degree is required in
business, finance, marketing or related fields. - 2-5 years of
experience at an investment bank, private equity, management
consulting, and/or a media/entertainment/tech company in a
strategy/business development/analytical role with modeling
experience. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to
work with owners to define key business/operations questions and
recommendations. - Demonstrated success in achieving aggressive
short, medium and long-term goals, with a proven ability to
influence others. - Demonstrated bias for action and attention to
detail with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, and the
ability to work in a deadline driven work environment. -
Media/Entertainment strategy experience - Masters in Business
Administration degree is preferred - Knowledge of creative,
production, post production processes and related workflows -
Experience helping global organizations scale. - A passion for
content production and/or entertainment. - Business development

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
